PhD students have their own Graduate School at Delft University of Technology. TU Delft Graduate School prepares and trains doctoral candidates to become highly qualified, autonomous and leading researchers and skilled professionals.

Finding a position

In order to be admitted as a Delft University of Technology doctoral candidate, you must first find a professor from Delft University of Technology who is willing to act as your proposed promotor (supervisor). Subsequently, the research topic should be decided on. You will also need to obtain a source of funding for your PhD project.

If you have found no relevant vacancies on the relevant websites, you may consider sending an open job application to the secretary of the department of your interest, or to the Faculty Graduate School.
