The Cyber Zoo is a research and test laboratory in the faculty of Aerospace Engineering. This laboratory enables researchers to gather data and test their robots in a safe environment. The Cyber Zoo is a ten by ten metre space, surrounded by a net which protects the robots and the researchers.

Twelve high-tech cameras are used to analyse the robots. In addition to analyses, the Cyber Zoo can be adjusted to simulate different environments. From craters on Mars to windows in buildings and obstacles for robots to manoeuvre around. This allows for thorough testing in practical environments.
